Wireless Internet Service
CSW provides high-speed Internet service to both businesses and residences in multiple areas within Lane & Linn County.
Internet speeds are comparable to, if not better than, other broadband services like DSL & Cable. We don't require any phone lines or cable to provide our service.
How it works
Our service is distributed to you via low-power microwave transmissions from our closest 'Point of Presence'. In many cases, this will be equipment mounted on towers on the nearby hills/mountains. Some high-demand locations have regional distribution points to better serve customers in that area.
Equipment Needed
Necesary equipment consists of two items:
- Directional Antenna
- Subscriber Radio Unit
If you are more than 15 miles from one of our tower sites, or if there are trees or other local obstructions, your installation may also require a signal amplifier.
